Malize McBride - Australia: The Red Centre

We are excited to be hosting The Red Centre, a body of work which captures the scorching heat, clear nights and threatening storm clouds of the Australian hinterland.

Malize McBride’s 2006 near sell-out solo show, Antarctica was marked by a predominance of cold blues, white and green. In The Red Centre McBride again explores a stark landscape, achieving a rich variety while restricting her palette – this time mainly to earthy reds, browns and ochres.
