About the artist

Hetty Haxworth studied at the Glasgow School of Art and now makes her work at The Glasgow Print Studio. She exhibits regularly throughout the UK and her work has been shown in Denmark, Belgium and California.

“My abstract screenprints and oil paintings are based on organic forms - the exploration of the lines and textures on rock and stone. Each of these new prints are produced through the layering of stencils and colour, starting with the darkest layer and gradually moving through several tones to the lightest hue.” Hetty Haxworth
